We at North are blessed to have half a dozen people who make prayer shawls for those who have lost a loved one or are in need of some special tlc. With each shawl, these words are expressed in a card:
“Dear friend,
These prayer shawls were made by members of the North Church Needleworkers group with our love and prayers.
As you wrap yourself in a shawl, it is our hope that you not only feel the support of family and friends, but you feel wrapped in the comforting presence of God’s love….”
