NASA’s Juno spacecraft has been orbiting Jupiter since 2016, beaming back spectacular pictures of the largest planet in our solar system.
You’re invited to an interactive presentation by Elder Warren Marcus, JPL/NASA Solar System ambassador, on traveling to Jupiter with Juno. We will meet in the church library on Saturday, November 3, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. This presentation is free and open to the public. Please R.S.V.P. to the church at 716.632.1330 or n.church@verizon.net if you plan to attend.
He says, “I hope to open our eyes…to new discoveries about what Jupiter is like and how we need to rethink our assumptions of this planet.”
Warren has been an ambassador for NASA since 2003. He strives to share his knowledge about our solar system and what lies beyond with a wide variety of audiences. He says there is a keen interest in knowing more about our world and the cosmos in which we live. His educational outreach efforts focus on presentations throughout WNY and the Finger Lakes Region, as well as the broader United States.
