We are excited about this year’s pulpit exchange with our friends at Congregation Shir Shalom. Please mark your calendar for these dates: Friday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m., at Congregation Shir Shalom, 4660 Sheridan Dr., Williamsville. Pastor Bill will offer the message, and the NPC Adult Choir will share in music.

We will be reflecting on the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht, how the world has changed, especially in regard to Christian-Jewish relations, and work that still needs to be done to improve relations. Kristallnacht, or “Night of Broken Glass,” was a pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany on 9–10 November 1938, carried out by SA paramilitary forces and German civilians.

Also, on Sunday, November 18, we will welcome Rabbi Alex and Cantor Frank during the 10:15 a.m. worship service. We look forward to more reflection on Kristallnacht at this time.
