We are discussing themes from the 2016 book Faithful Resistance: Gospel Visions for the Church in a Time of Empire. The first part of the book introduces current issues such as Black Lives Matter, inclusiveness of LGBT persons, and hostility to Muslims. The second part explores creative responses that could reshape the church for the 21st century.
