Special Offering for Hurricane Matthew Victims

In the wake of Hurricane Matthew, North Church has decided that we should receive a Special Offering to benefit a specific recovery effort. Of the 154 homes built by the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity (in North Carolina), 95 have been damaged by flooding and 66 homes are in “desperate need.” Habitat is an organization North Church has worked with and we know that we can trust them to use our donations wisely and directly in repairs to damaged homes.

On Sunday, October 30 we will receive a Special Offering designated for flood relief by the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity. There will be an envelope for your cash or check donations in the bulletin; checks made out to North Presbyterian Church with “Hurricane Matthew” in the memo line can be sent to or dropped off at the church office. The funds received will be sent on Monday, November 7. Thank you for your generous support. Please keep all those affected by Hurricane Matthew in your prayers.
