A Journey’s End Event

Journey’s End Refugee Services (JERS) will sponsor “Buffalo Through Their Eyes 2012” on Thursday, October 4 from 6 to 9pm at the CEPA Gallery (617 Main Street, Buffalo). The event will feature photographs taken by several refugees (trained by the Gallery), documenting their new lives in Buffalo. It is an opportunity for the clients of Journey’s End to express themselves through art and to showcase JERS’ important work of welcoming refugees to our community.

North Church is a Gold Sponsor of the event. The Mission Committee is using its annual gift to JERS to let the public know just how important supporting refugee resettlement is to our church. This year the photo show will hang at the CEPA Gallery for at least two weeks after the October 4th event. Many of the photographers and their families, as well as the JERS staff, will be present. This is a unique opportunity to meet them.

Tickets are $30 if purchased in advance or $35 at the door. Please plan to attend.
