Let me introduce you to an Adult Education offering that I am going to be teaching starting this Sunday, October 23 at 9:30am in the Library. It is entitled “Overcoming Love Busters.”
Occasional mistakes do not drain your love bank you deposit with each other as long as they can be seen as mistakes and love deposits are made immediately. An apology quickly heals the wound and the deposits continue the healing process. However, when mistakes become a habit, one that is repeated again and again, the love balances are at risk. In these kinds of situations apologies carry very little power to heal the wounds. It is these mistakes that become habits I call “love busters.” It is these love busters we shall learn to identify and avoid in your relationships. We will learn the lessons necessary so that you can remove them from your love relationship. Before you can ever hope to rebuild your love balances with those you love, you must first learn to stop making withdrawals I call “love busters.”
Won’t you join us this Sunday at 9:30am in the Library? And further, bring a friend or two as well. It is a great way to introduce others to North Church and our caring for each other. In fact, bring your partner!
