Club 456:
Our youth group for 4th to 6th grade is designed to give our children a youth group experience as they transition up to the junior high age range.
Junior/Senior High Youth Group:
Our 7th to 12th grade youth group emphasizes fellowship and community as together we learn more about God and the church in fun and interactive ways.
Sunday School:
Youth are invited to learn to think about the meaning of Bible stories and to imagine what the words meant to people long ago and what they mean to us today. To learn more about Sunday School, to see the lesson outlines (so you can talk about it as a family!), or to see the 2011-2012 calendar, please click here.
Music & Dance:
Youth can get involved in the Children’s/Youth Choir or the “Bells’ Angels” Handbell Choir. Youth 15 years and older can also participate in the Sacred Dance Choir.
Confirmation:
Youth in the ninth grade (and sometimes beyond) participate in an exploration of their faith stories of people in the Bible, in the Presbyterian Church (USA), in our community, and at North Church. The goal of this journey is to enable young people to make a careful decision about accepting responsibility for membership in this congregation by helping them explore their own faith journey. Classes will begin November 2012 on Sunday nights and will continue through late April 2013.
Confirmation Sunday was held on April 22, 2012. Welcome to the newest members of North Church—Matt Brown, Caitlyn Littlewood, Alexandra Orlando & Melanie Powell! Here are some pictures from the day:
