We are blessed with a beautiful facility, and we enjoy having community partners who share our values. We serve our whole community by providing a space where children and adults can grow spiritually, physically, and intellectually.
LE3, a before- and after-school program for elementary school-age children, currently leases our downstairs south wing and two rooms in the north wing. By offering a safe, caring place for homework help and recreation, LE3 provides a much-needed community resource while also generating important revenue to support our church’s ministry.
“We are here to serve our whole community by providing a space where children and adults can find wholeness spiritually, physically, and intellectually…. And we’re always open to more groups or organizations looking for a home.”–
Pastor Bill Hennessy
We are also home to #OneWorld Singing, Dancing and Healing, a multicultural choir sponsored by Bridges from Borders. The choir focuses on “promoting diversity, inclusion, and friendships among children, youth, and parents through collaborating with immigrant communities, parent groups, and schools.” Each spring, North Church hosts the #OneWorld Community Concert & Exhibit. Watch the live stream of the 2026 concert.
Along with our Senior Wellness classes, Sheila’s Jazz Aerobics meets in Westminster Hall on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Bodyshaping by Sandy offers several Pilates classes in the Chapel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.
Together with a variety of meetings and classes—including monthly gatherings of the Girl Scouts, Embroiderers’ Guild, and the recently added Niagara Frontier Chord Authority choir—our building is in use nearly every day and evening.
At times, it may seem as though we focus too much on maintaining our building or that our resources could be used elsewhere. Yet this building is our gift to the community. Providing a secure, welcoming place where people can improve their lives or help bring wholeness to others is an essential ministry. We can be proud of this contribution and grateful for the privilege of serving in this way. May God continue to use us as a blessing to our community.
Our presence is vital to our neighborhood, and we remain open to additional groups and organizations seeking a home. Click here to learn more about our facility and how to contact us if you are interested in renting space in our facility.
