Breakfast Series: Bringing Dental Care to Syrian and Yazidi Refugees

Join us for our breakfast series on Saturday, September 21, from 9-11 a.m., to hear from Syrian-born Dr. Othman Shibley, clinical professor in the UB Department of Periodontics and Endodontics and assistant dean for diversity and inclusion. He will share with us his experiences building a dental clinic–in six days–in Iraqi Kurdistan and delivering dental services to hundreds of war-displaced refugees along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

This event is co-sponsored by Amherst and Clarence Presbyterian churches. A light breakfast will be available for a $5 donation. Please RSVP to North Church at 716.632.1330 or email n.church@verizon.net.
