Last Sunday Elder Pat Townsend offered a sermon, “What Time Is It?” at the 10am worship service at North Church. Being the first Sunday after Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve morning, her topic was “timely” as she related specifics from her own life of activities she would like to accomplish this year. She encouraged us to start the New Year by looking around us for “signs of hope,” those acts of goodness that inspire us to be better.

And with that, an assignment. If you read about something that inspires you, clip it out and tack it to the “Signs of Hope” area posted in Westminster Hall beginning on Sunday. This can be anything that inspires you: a quote, a photo, an article…the sky is the limit. Let’s encourage each other and start off the New Year with signs of hope!
