North Church will again be sponsoring a Veteran’s Mission Project from Memorial Day through Independence Day. The project will be in support of Willow Lodge, a 20-bed Community Living Center that focuses on hospice/palliative care and rehabilitation at the VA Hospital. When asked for suggestions, the program director indicated that treats of Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts or pizza are greatly appreciated by the veterans.

We will be collecting monetary donations with which we will purchase gift cards or certificates for these items to brighten the day for our service men and women in Willow Lodge. There will be a Mission Committee representative in the narthex after services on Sundays in June to receive donations. Just look for the red-white-and blue.
