This Saturday!

Church Clean-up Day
On the morning of Saturday, May 10, the whole family is invited to come out and help clean up around our facilities—gardening outside, wiping and sweeping inside, and whatever else our hard-working property committee says needs to be done! Come out whenever in the morning (preferably before 11am) and we’ll have some breakfast-type snacks on hand for you.

Men’s Fellowship “Famous” Breakfast and Meeting at 8:00am, cost: $7.00
Men, you are invited to a very special meeting on Saturday, May 10, at 8:00 a.m., when Sophia Veffer, a holocaust survivor from Amsterdam, Holland, will speak about her experiences. While her experiences are similar to Anne Frank’s, they also differ. Sophia has dedicated herself to helping others understand the horrors of the holocaust.

Sign up will be after both services this Sunday, May 1. The menu is secondary, but will consist of blueberry pancakes and sausage. Men may feel free to bring their children.

Following the meeting (around 9:30), the Property Committee will be sponsoring its annual clean up of the grounds around the church. If you can stay after the meeting to help, it would be appreciated.
