We have all become aware of the storms that have brought destruction, suffering, and loss to communities in the Southern United States this spring. Of particular note have been the tornadoes that have hit Moore and other parts of Oklahoma.

Every year the Mission Committee sets aside funds for emerging needs and crisis assistance. At our last meeting, the Mission Committee voted unanimously to send $2000 from these funds to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA). PDA is effective and experienced in both the immediate response and the long-term recovery assistance needed to rebuild social and daily routines, neighborhoods and lives.
