Service of Peace, Hope and Light

ServicePeaceHopeLight 2012For many people the Christmas season is a bittersweet time. The Service of Peace, Hope and Light, held on December 11, provided an opportunity for worship and reflection for those who know that this Christmas will be a hard one because they have had a death in the family, a loss of job or health, a broken relationship, or because of painful memories of Christmases past

Pastor Bill Hennessy officiated and the Deacons organized the service with assistance from members of University Presbyterian Church. The Sacred Dancers participated as well. The service was well attended, and refreshments and fellowship followed the service. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in Soul Feast.

We invite you to check out what else is going on at North Church during the Christmas season.
