To our South Basement (4 yrs thru 3rd grade) Sunday School families,

Our Sunday School program is wrapping up, and we have spent the entire year of learning about the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23 – God working in us.  So to celebrate that and show the congregation what we learned, the Kids Ministry Team is asking all our South Basement students to participate in a short presentation in two weeks.

The presentation itself will be short and simple.  Midway through the 10:45am service on June 17 the children will carry some signs – each designating an individual “fruit” – up front for the children’s time, and then a few of them will speak a few lines.  Following this all the children will sit back down with their parents for the rest of the service.  Everything will be scripted ahead of time, and should take only minimal preparation.  We will spend part of our final Sunday School class next week on June 10 practicing this, and we’ll eat a nice end-of-the year snack.

We really hope as many of our children as possible can participate on June 17 and show our congregation how God is working in their lives through our Sunday School program.  If you think you can participate please contact Peter Martin, and even if somebody can’t be there for the “practice” on the 10th we can still work something out.
