Winter Coats Needed

Journey’s End Resettlement Services is in immediate need of donations of new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves and boots for men, women and children. They have refugees arriving from much warmer climates into a much colder climate than they are used to. Donations may be brought to North Church and put in the box in the Mission Corner.

Currently, eight bags of winter coats have already been delivered to Journey’s End!!!!! That means that many refugees will now have warm winter coats. Thank you so much. As of October 31st $2,252 has been received for the Peacemaking Offering. $563 of this will be sent to ECHO to support their efforts to provide water to families in third-world countries. It is not too late to add your gift to this amount, just write a check and put Peacemaking Offering on the Memo Line and put it in the offering plate. Thank you for this also. The generosity of this congregation is awesome.
